The aim of this project is to highlight to SME’s and local digital marketer’s the importance of Google Local Search traffic and inquiries to your business. But, more importantly, the actionable steps you can take to optimize your website and Google My Business listing to take advantage of this important source of local traffic and inquiries.
The data is based on a biannual survey of local search digital marketing specialists in which they are asked their opinions on what the most important ranking factors are. Drawing on their extensive experience, the marketers then grade each of the main ranking factors until a total out of 100 is reached for each factor.
The survey has been running for many years and has proven to provide an accurate methodology for local businesses and marketers to follow in order to improve their local search traffic and inquiry numbers.
